Barakat Law Firm was founded in 2023 in Cairo, Egypt, at a pivotal moment in the rise of entrepreneurship and technological advancement across the Middle East and North Africa. The firm was established by a team of lawyers with deep experience in both private practice and public service, including roles with top-tier international law firms and the Egyptian Ministry of Justice. United by the belief that law must evolve in tandem with innovation, Barakat Law Firm was established to provide forward-thinking legal support to the region’s most ambitious founders and disruptive enterprises.

Our Success Stories
BLF represented and advised Robusta Technology Group (RTG) on its Series A transaction. The Firm acted as lead legal counsel, providing comprehensive support across the structuring, negotiation, and execution of the investment round.
BLF acted as legal counsel to GFF for a period of three years. During this engagement, the Firm drafted, reviewed, and negotiated a wide range of commercial agreements. The total value of the agreements handled exceeded EGP 1 billion.
BLF successfully acted as legal counsel on the closing of a USD 9.2 million Series A funding round for Cognna Cyber Security in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Firm advised on the structuring, negotiation, and execution of the transaction.
BLF acted as legal counsel to REME-D in connection with the closing of its investment round. The Firm advised on the structuring, negotiation, and completion of the transaction, with a total investment value of USD 2 million.
BLF acted as legal counsel to Prepit in connection with the acquisition of 51% of its shares by Dsquares. The Firm advised on the structuring, negotiation, and completion of the transaction, while simultaneously converting all angel investors as part of the overall deal structure.
